I acquired this great playing guitar 6 years ago from a friend who was the original owner. Neither he nor I are guitar players, so that may explain why this guitar is in such good shape today. The guitar sat in the orginal Fender case and was only taken out occassionally to be played non-professionally. It plays great and and as the pictures show, it looks great. I believe it was painted the year it was bought , so the paint job must have been well done to have lasted over 40 years! There is some cracking of the paint as to be expected with the age of the guitar
