We work with more than one thousand painters, photographers, and mixed-media artists to provide our clients with a rotating collection of artwork that's engaging and fresh. As a full service artwork company, we handle the entire process from design through on-site installation. The Role: We are looking for multiple part-time Operations Associates to join our team and assist with packing, shipping, installation and maintenance needs at our Leather District-based headquarters in Boston. This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in art who prefers physical work and is looking for a flexible, part-time position. The ideal candidate is diligent, dependable and prepared to assume a wide variety and high volume of work.
Responsibilities:
Framing artwork in multiple sizes and installing relevant hanging hardware
Preparation, wrapping, and packaging of artwork for shipment across the country
Construction of specialized boxes for extra-large artwork
Assembly of artwork placards
Receiving and processing all incoming shipments
Maintenance and organization of all inventory
Maintenance of warehouse space
Qualifications:
Maintenance of warehouse space
Ability to quickly learn and execute multi-step processes diligently, efficiently and accurately
Exceptional attention to detail
Comfort with online technology and ability to learn our online management system quickly
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Prior art handling experience is a plus
