Job Number: xxxx66 VoIP Project Manager Title: VoIP Project Manager Duration: 12 months Location: Charlestown, MA Description: PM for LARGE CISCO phone deployment for major hospital (70,000 phone lines). Key skill/experience is PM VOIP phone deployment. Avaya, or end user phone deployment experience is OK. Large deployment preferred. Cisco is preferred. Prefer a PMP certified engineer. Position Description/Specific Duties of Position:Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in design and management of technical implementation projects, customer interface experience in large corporate environment and supervisory experience in a healthcare related industry with an emphasis on technical staff management.The candidate must be a team-oriented performer with an outstanding work ethic having superior customer relations, presentation skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.The person hired into this role will provide project management leadership for the implementation of IP telephony, Unified Communications and VoIP. Additional duties will include: Be responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end Manage project timelines, building baseline schedules, and project initiatives and resources Create status reports and presentations Define approach and solution requirements for the implementation Work with the program manager, customer management and technical services teams in defining requirements Develop the agenda and facilitate/host kick-off meetings, weekly team meetings, project review meetings, issues resolution meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required Provide and update standard project management documentation including: Project Definition Documents Statements of Work Project Plan Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Project Schedules Project Risk and Issue Assessment and Tracking Project Change Controls Meeting Agendas and Minutes Status Reports Lessons Learned Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technology discipline Project Management Institute Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred Experience with automated project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Manager for VoIP and IP Telephony projects Hands-on experience with VoIP, Cisco Unified Communications, Cisco Contact Center, Cisco Unity, Cisco equipment rollouts preferred Healthcare industry experience a plus Demonstrated ability to: Manage large complex projects and deliver them on time and within budget Communicate effectively in oral and written form Meet customer requirements and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction Work with a wide variety of technical & non-technical staff Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with ability to function in a collaborative environment, working with cross-functional teams All candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer and able to pass a background check.
