QualificationsAreas of specialization should reside in the fields of synthetic organic chemistry with a deep understanding of reactivity and reaction mechanism and advanced lab skills. Students with experience in synthetic organic chemistry involving nucleosides, oligonucleotides, sugars, or photo chemistry are preferred. Required lab skills preferred: NMR, HPLC, HPLC:MSand LC:MS instruments; Ability to interpret data. To participate in the Biogen Co:Op Program, Students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
* Enrollment in a full:time undergraduate or graduate program, returning to the academic program following Biogen Co:Op assignment
* Minimum grade point average of 3.2 preferred
* At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
* Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies
EducationSenior under graduate, MS, or PhD graduate students majoring in synthetic organic chemistry.
