Sales Application Manager in Boston, Massachusetts For Sale

Primary Location: Boston, MA Oasys Water is seeking an energetic individual with excellent communication and organization skills to deliver timely and accurate information on products and services to potential customers supporting sales, marketing and engineering teams. In this key technical and customer-facing role, the successful candidate will be involved in all phases of applications development, ranging from proposal development to solution delivery. Essential Responsibilities: · Respond to inbound requests for products and services, including those from field sales teams, on-line requests and on-going customer support · Generate and manage proposal documents including basic process flow diagrams and process descriptions · Interface with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner · Manage CRM software (Salesforce.com) and keep all customers contact information up to date · Assist in managing projects from proposal to customer sign-off · Willingness to travel up to Skills and Experience · BS in environmental, mechanical or chemical engineering required · Minimum 5 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales support of applications development, preferable in the water industry · Technical and applies knowledge of desalination and water treatment technologies · Technical and applied knowledge of mechanical systems · Familiarity with standard design applications and ability to produce block diagrams · Excellent customer service and team liaison skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Demonstrated ability to serve as a liaison between engineering team and business partners to achieve objectives, enhance communications, and strengthen product development. · Fluent in Mandarin a plus Attitude: Candidate should be a self-starter, highly driven, enthusiastic and disciplined individual with the desire to succeed and surpass expectations.
