Overview of the role:The Sales Associate role provides proactive order process, contracts management, client management, and TR admin support to Account Management teams (Account Manager, Client Specialist, Technical Account Manager.)This role is pivotal to the sales process and client relationship management, requiring collaboration with colleagues in Client Administration, Contract Management, Commercial Policy, Specialty Sales, and Market Development, as well as other teams within Thomson Reuters. The Sales Associate works in close partnership with the Account Manager who leads and owns all Thomson Reuters Financial and Risk engagements with their assigned clients. This is a client facing role within the sales team.Responsibilities: Partner with Account Managers to support the order process by proactively managing opportunities in CRM, assisting in the approvals processes, and insuring all client paperwork is accurate Support AMs and regional sales management forecasting and pipeline management efforts Respond quickly to customer needs, working with urgency to propose creative solutions that deliver demonstrable value Communicate and collaborate directly with clients to build productive relationships, obtain signed order forms, support the trial process, assist with entitlements, etc Work cohesively with Client Admin, Legal, and Commercial Policy teams, including OMS, Admin Manager, Client Admin Specialists, Credit Controllers, and Negotiators to insure timely completion of all order activity and efficiently address issues as they arise Team with other Sales Associates to manage the region's reporting deliverables We are the leading source of intelligent information for the worlds businesses and professionals, providing customers with competitive advantage. Qualifications
: The successful candidate should have 3:5+ years experience with a proven track record in supporting the sales process, order process, and relationship management
: Proven domain expertise in Thomson Reuters' administrative processes and supporting sales teams
: Basic financial markets knowledge
: Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Salesforce, TR BI tools
: Creative thinker with structured approach to problem solving, tenacious, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, spot project risks and opportunities, and prioritize tasks quickly
: Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
: Ability to thrive in a virtual team environment and confident and professional when dealing with sophisticated customers
