Description
Thomson Reuters is currently seeking a skilled senior level software engineer/developer with a solid background in large scale web application development. This person will work closely with internal groups and other Thomson Reuter's teams. The role will have experience in hands:on development and delivery and support of distributed, enterprise:level customer facing applications.
Responsibilities:
: Provide technical leadership, software development and guidance to teams and team members
: Promote adoption of standards and process improvements across development activities including testing, version control, and code review
: Prototype, evaluate and recommend core technology designs
: Provide estimations, risk assessments, technical documents and meet deliverables in a timely manner
: Assist team members efforts with experience and technical knowledge
: Participate in requirements gathering,

Qualifications
:Bachelors degree required
:Minimum 5 years software engineer/developer experience in a structured software development environment.
: Proven knowledge in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
: Proven knowledge in Javascript, Angular JS, jQuery, Polymer
: Experience in C and .Net Framework (ASP.Net, including MVC and Web API, Linq, asynchronous programming)
: Experience in Web services SOAP/REST, WCF. XML/JSON.
: Familiarity with NODE.JS, GRUNT, GULP.
: Solid understanding of AGILE development.
: Solid understanding of architecture of web core services and object oriented design.
: Experience designing or architecting large:scale web applications with web services.
: Experience in continuous integration
