Finally there is a straight forward Professional Music Studio with no hidden prices.
At Holly Hill Studios we flexibly price our studio time 3 ways depending on what type of work your band would like to do. All of our prices below include an engineer.
Lockout Rates
Hourly Rate - $35 (2hr minimum) - (2hrs = $70.00)
Day Lockout – $200 - (Up to 7hrs Single Weekday) - (7hrs = $28.57/hr) (Saves $45)
Weekend Lockout – $xxxx - (Friday – Sunday ONLY – 3 x 14hr days) (Includes one 5 hour pre production day) – (47hrs = $25.53/hr) (Saves $445)
Week-Long Lockout - $xxxx - (7 x 12hr Days) - (84hrs = 23.80/hr) (SAVES $940)
For Artist and bands who know how much time they will need, and work well within a given amount of time, lockout rates represent the cheapest deal you can get. To break down the single day rate of $200, divide that by 7hrs and you end up paying under $30/hr. The weekend lockout rate will get you 47hrs at $xxxx, coming to $25/hr, with an engineer. 84hrs on the weekly rate means $23/hr, with an engineer. You get all of this in one of Boston’s well equipped studios. Use your time as you like: All for tracking, all for mixing, or some for both.

Project rates are assessed, before beginning. Based on the details of the individual project. We will discuss your project with you and give you a quote. The estimates above may be lower or higher depending on the level of production involved in your specific project. The key benefit to booking under a project rate is that you save significantly from the hourly rate and can use as much time as needed in the mix down process.
Some artist who aren’t worried about cost & time tend to make better music in less time, which translates better takes in less time with more time for a great MIX
Half is due up front & the other half is due when final mix is received.
Cancellations should be made 24hrs in advance or a cancellation fee may apply.
