Cable Infrastructure; : Cat6, Fiber (SMF/MMF), 110 punch-down, ISDN, MBL, DS0/1/2/3, OC-3, SONET 2. Extensive structured cabling experience and experience racking various vendor equipment 3. Fiber experience – taking cables and installing – not terminating and creating cable (look to customer for that) NICE TO HAVE: 1. Enterprise experience; CISCO, Verint, Apcon, Gigamon, Spectracom, Ironport, Nokia, Juniper, InfoBlok and IBM/HP Blade Servers 2. Cisco skills 3. SONET PLUS Describe Project or Group &#xxxxx; how will this person fit into the bigger picture?: - Provide part-time, on-site support at customer site(s) located in the state of MA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Provide installation, upgrade, and configuration services for a wide breadth of Cisco enterprise products ranging from xxxx series to xxxx series and Nexus series platforms. - Provide installation services for non-Cisco platforms including Verint, Apcon, Gigamon, Spectracom, Ironport, Nokia, Juniper, InfoBlok and IBM/HP Blade Servers. - Provide cabling support for the following technologies: Cat6, Fiber (SMF/MMF), 110 punch-down, ISDN, MBL, DS0/1/2/3, OC-3, SONET. Certify and troubleshoot connections using test equipment. - Candidates need to be local to Massachusetts. Local travel is required between all major campus locations (Boston, Quincy, Westboro, Grafton). Required Skills: 1.
