A Shuttle Van Driver with our Wyndham Hotels and Resorts franchise : Wyndham Boston Chelsea:: is responsible for transporting guests in a prompt and courteous manner to and from the hotel using safe driving practices.
Full Time : 4 AM :2 PM (4, 10:hour shifts)
Full Time : 2 PM : 12 Midnight (4, 10:hour shifts)
Pay: 10 an hour + tips

What will I be doing?
A Shuttle Van Driver with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is responsible for transporting guests in a prompt and courteous manner to and from the airport and parking structure using safe driving practices. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
RESPONSIBILITIES: To include but not limited to the assigned duties...
*Exceed guest expectations.
*Read, understand and adhere to the employee handbook.
*Read, understand and adhere to the safety manual.
*Observe all departmental rules, regulations, and dress code.
*Demonstrate teamwork responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Wyndhams standards.
*Remain informed of all departmental communications and events to provide friendly and professional service to guests and employees.
*Open doors and ask guest if they require assistance with luggage.
*Ensure that all baggage is secured and tagged at guest request to store baggage.
*Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets and services to guests as opportunities present themselves to increase guest satisfaction and maximize hotel revenues.
*Respond to guest needs including delivery of guest mail/messages, Forget Something items and any other requests.
*May transport guests to and from local areas within a 7 mile radius.
*Resolving guest complaints.
*Be thoroughly knowledgeable in the use of your equipment.
*Answer telephone within 3 rings.
*Use 10/5 Rule: Make Eye Contact within 10 feet, smile within 5 feet, then greet guest
*Knowledgeable in concierge services.
*Cross train wherever necessary.
*Strictly adhere to all applicable Massachusetts Highway Patrol and City Police laws and regulations.
*Inspect shuttle vans using the Van Checklist. Report any problems to engineering immediately.
*Immediately report any and all incidents to the Manager on Duty or your Department Head.
*Maintain strict compliance of hotels Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) program and be familiarized with current MSDS.
*Follow all safety procedures by not opening a guestroom door for anyone without establishing and verifying identification.
*Regularly inspect and maintain public areas to assure they are in compliance with hotel standards.
*Required to maintain a current drivers license.
*Be professional and hospitable to all guests and fellow employees.
*In emergency situations assist all other departments or assist where deemed necessary by all Supervisors or Fire Chief.
*To assist in other departments and in other situations as deemed necessary by all Supervisors.
